COVID-19 Daily Screener Travel Clearance
With pandemic travel rules changing almost daily and varying across state and local jurisdictions, our team was tasked to create an elegant, scalable solution to integrate travel clearance into the COVID-19 Daily Screener for employer partners subscribed to our Active Monitoring program.
Reporting Dashboard Isolate & Test Status
To provider our employer partners with safe, return-to-office practices, we created a Reporting Dashboard that tracks self-reported employee COVID-19 Daily Screener responses and test result status. This dashboard enables HR partners to ensure employees are properly cleared for the workplace.
Appointment Booking Timezone Flexibility
Expanding into new geographic locations requires our native app to enable appointment booking across all domestic US timezones. This information needed to be updated in our EMR (Athena) as well. Users needed to see the timezones for all appointment times during booking, confirmation, and adding to calendar.

As Eden Health prepared to receive vaccine supply our goal was to ensure that our patient population was appropriately prioritized to receive vaccine according to state regulations. A cross-vertical effort throughout the product team, we built a vaccine screener to assess health risk and priority level, filtered appointment booking, and a medical record uploader. Once we received supply and patients were prioritized to receive vaccine, the COVID-19 Vaccine appointment reason became available on the native app based on eligible medical record numbers (MRNs). Patients are able to safely send their vaccine cards through the app where the status can be logged in our EMR and sent to the state immunization registries.
Pop-up Booking and Management
Create Rapid Testing Pop-up Types
Clinical worksite Pop-ups are the most profitable service line at Eden Health. Through this modality of care, we are able to provide employer partners with a safe return-to-office program using rapid testing. Creating a specific rapid testing appointment type allows patients to intuitively book through the native app once a Pop-up event has been activated for a specific employer.
Adjusting Pop-up Visibility
User research showed that patients prefer to indicate appointment reasons first before selecting the location or modality of their appointment. Because employers can have more than one active Pop-up at a time, the available Pop-up events are nested in the Pop-up appointment reason, allowing users to select the type of visit they would like to receive.

User Eligibility for Worksite Pop-ups
To enable wider vaccine distribution for employer partners we provided the Pop-up team with the ability to toggle user eligibility when creating Pop-up Events. Traditionally, Pop-ups were reserved for employers and not their registered dependents. To encourage more individuals to receive vaccine, these Pop-up events will need to the option to be visible for all registered Eden Health patients.
